‘Retouch’ to hit 17 Nov. int’l screens

Iranian short film ‘Retouch’ directed by Kaveh Mazaheri has been set to go on 17 international screens around the world in November 2017.

The short film will take part the American events of Denver Film Festival, the Ojai Film Festival, and the Miami Film Festival, all in the US, as well as the Stuff MX Film Festival in Mexico.

It will also attend the European festivals of the Tirana Film Festival in Albania, the Bratislava Film Festival in Slovakia, the Stockholm Film Festival in Sweden, the Alemeria Film Festival in Spain, the Cologne Short Film Festival in Germany, the Bosphorus Film Festival in Turkey, the Leeds Film Festival in the UK, the Sleepwalkers Short Film Festival in Estonia, the Lubin Film Festival in Poland, the Tous Courts in France, and the Thess Short Film Festival in Greece.

Asia will also screen the short film at the EKADESHMA Film Festival in Nepal and the Asiana Short Film Festival in South Korea.

Produced by the Iranian Young Cinema Society, ‘Retouch’ is about a young woman whose husband dies before her eyes and she just observes the tragic scene.

The film has so far participated in many international film festivals, winning many awards and nominations.

It has previously won Best Short Film Awards at the Krakow International Film Festival, the Palm Springs International Film Festival, and the Tribeca Film Festival, all in the US.
